I
was born in 1981
as a second child to
strict but good parents. They were both hard-working and ambitious,
never giving up on their goals in life, so their expectations for me
and my brother were always high.
They taught us to achieve the best results possible in any given
situation, in everything we did. My parents gave me a good foundation
to be an independent individual with a belief that with passion and
work anything is possible.
I was always a very determined and energetic child with lots of
interests. My grades in primary school were above average despite my
many after-school activities such as singing, writing, arts and crafts,
playing the guitar, basketball, and volleyball. With most of my close
relatives being artists, architects or designers, my interests were
hardly a surprise.
When personal computers were introduced in the early '90s, I was
hooked. The arrival of computer arts brought about a new era and
created an opportunity for a new generation of designers. |

My secondary education began in 1996
at the Design & Photography High School. Those four years have
been full of learning experiences. From my first bad grades to my first
love, first disappointments and first real friendships. It was a
memorable time of my life. But despite being among other creative
people, I rarely felt a real sense of belonging. Most of my classmates
were only interested in traditional art while I was strongly influenced
and intrigued by the new media, especially the world wide web.
I graduated from High School in 2000 and headed straight for work
experience. Working full-time at such a young age changes you forever.
You have to grow up and miss out on the fun student lifestyle your
friends enjoy. Most of the people of your age that you meet from that
point on will not understand you and will not have much or anything in
common with you. Suddenly you lose a connection with your generation,
you make new friends, you earn money, you travel. But most importantly
you begin building your independence. No care-free student life can
beat that.

For the past 8
years I have worked for
interactive and advertising agencies as an employee as well as a
freelancer. In that time I have completed a two year study in
Multimedia. I have recently obtained a Design Masters Degree in
Sydney. I mostly work with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and lllustrator.
Occasionally I do some basic html coding in Adobe Dreamweaver.
I am a Mac person. I came to my senses in 2005 when I switched from a
PC. OSX is a great environment for a trouble-free creative workflow. My
future goals include learning Adobe Flash, upgrading my coding skills,
understanding php better and do some basic 3D modelling work.
I would like to believe that I am on the right track to becoming an
exceptional designer one day. I love and enjoy designing immensely and
there is nothing that I would rather do. However, I also enjoy music,
photography, reading, films, dancing, and travel. In the end, I hope
that I can say I am a good person with honest intentions and a
captivating personality. |

My
Other Half
My hubby is a supportive partner and a great friend. He is funny,
friendly, good-hearted, reliable and faithful. Our interests are quite
different but our common values make the relationship work. We got
married on our 3rd anniversary in September 2006, and moved to
Australia together in February 2007. He works as a Tax Accountant in
Mosman, Sydney. |

My Family
I am
the shortest and youngest member of my family. My parents grew up and
met each other in Belgrade, the capital city of Former Republic of
Yugoslavia. They moved to a small town in Slovenia in 1975. My brother
was born three years later. I truly admire my parents for all they've
achieved in life, for teaching me that everything is possible and for
loving me unconditionally. |
